PETERSFIELD Town Council planning committee is to look at an application to convert an industrial unit in the town into offices.

Members will comment on the change of use application for New Mint House in Bedford Road at their meeting on Tuesday, October 3, in the town hall council chamber at 6.30pm.

A report by commercial property agents Vail Williams will say that converting the 3,000 square metre two story building won’t result in jobs being lost.

Councillors comments will be forwarded to South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) planners who will consider them when deciding if the proposal should be approved, or turned down.

The application by Woodpecker Limited can be viewed on the national park planning search webpage www.planningpublicaccess.southdowns.gov.uk using reference SDNP/17/03767/FUL
