A INJURED couple were rescued by firefighters after their car left the A272 near Petersfield last night (Wednesday, July 11).
Firefighters had to cut the roof off a Subaru to free the pair after being called to Bordean Hill, near Langrish, at 10.45pm.
Two ambulances were also sent as a woman passenger suffered a serious, but not life-threatening, head injury while another male passenger also sustained a leg injury.
Both were taken by ambulance to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, for further treatment and assessment.
Firefighters from Petersfield, Liphook and Cosham carried out the rescue operation and made the vehicle safe.
