A CRAFT fair in aid of a Petersfield charity that provides palliative care at home was a great success, say organisers.

The fundraising fair in East Meon village hall for the Rosemary Foundation was “busy,” said a foundation spokeswoman.

She said: “It was a great success, we are very pleased.”

One stall featured a model sailing ship, and fair goers had to guess how many knots there were in the rigging.

The spokeswoman added: “There were also handicraft stalls, a lady selling animal portraits, a cake and jam stall, and refreshments.”

The charity provides care through its team of qualified specialist nurses, counsellors and care assistants.

Running costs are covered by fundraising events organised by the team, and supporters of the charity.
