THE POPULAR annual Milland contemporary crafts exhibition and sale was held at the weekend.
The two-day event took place on Saturday and Sunday at Milland Memorial Hall.
Joint-organiser Hilary Charlesworth said: “We had a brilliant weekend and a huge amount of interest.
“Because it is a meet the makers event, I think it is lovely for people to come and meet the people who make the items. It makes it special.
“I organise the event with Angela Carter and we make sure the crafts here are of a high quality. We had just under 400 people through the doors, and the teas and homemade cakes raised £370 for the Samaritans.”
The projected dates for the 2017 event are November 18 and 19.
