NEW?INTERACTIVE maps of England’s light pollution show that Hampshire is ranked the 23rd darkest out of 41 counties.

The ‘Night Blight’ maps, produced using satellite images through September 2015, have been released by the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE).

CPRE wants to see a Green Belt for south Hampshire, where the pollution is most concentrated, to prevent unnecessary urban sprawl into the surrounding countryside.
