A FARMY army is ready to light a trail as the RMW Charity Tractor Run is back doing the rounds for Christmas in aid of Hampshire & IoW Air Ambulance.

Around 40 festively decorated tractors will take to the road over the next two evenings with the first leaving Wylds Farm around 5.30pm tomorrow (Friday) on a circular tour of Liss Forest, Greatham, Blackmoor, Bordon, Passfield, Liphook, Milland, Rake and Liss.

The second will start at 5pm on Saturday at the A272 services in Petersfield and will finish at 7.45pm at The Square after taking in Buriton, South Harting, Nyewood, Rogate, Rake and Liss.

The event is the brainchild of Mark Rowden of RM Winscom with collections taking place at both finish sites.

Last year’s inaugural event raised £5,000 – nearly double the £2,882 target – with a £7,000 figure being the target this year.
