FIREFIGHTERS used cutting equipment to free people from a car which overturned on the A3 near Weston early last Thursday morning.

A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said the driver lost control while attempting to avoid a deer in the road. Crews from Petersfield and Cosham made the vehicle safe and rescued the uninjured pair, who didn’t require hospital treatment.
