CREATIVITY will be clear to see when a glass-maker and her husband hold an exhibition in a Petersfield venue.

Buriton couple, Paul and Jill Martin, have teamed up with five other artists to hold the 7 Up event in the Physic Garden.

The four-day exhibition opens this Friday and will feature Paul’s place-inspired and pun-based limited edition prints and cards.

Jill is a lino print artist and also creates artisan glasswork, while Jane Healey and Jackie Dredge specialise in ceramics and hats, respectively.

Textile and leatherwork by Fritha’s Handmade will also be on show alongside woodwork and painted carvings by Ted Underwood and his niece Freya Lovell.

Their work may look familiar to Buriton Art Trail fans as the duo exhibited pieces on the small green near St Mary’s Church.

“I think it’s the diversity of the pieces in the exhibition which will make it really interesting,” said Mr Martin.

“I’m not sure how many pieces will be displayed but it’s a very generous space.”

Visitors can expect to see unusual and desirable one-off millinery creations, pretty and practical pottery and hand-crafted leather goods.

The exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 4pm until September 9, free entry.
