THE SUCCESSFUL and highly-regarded Petersfield Comedy Club is doing something special for its season of Fringe Previews this year.

Due to popular demand, organisers have scheduled extra shows at The Folly Upstairs in both June and July, so comedy fans can enjoy twice as many brilliant acts previewing their Edinburgh shows this year.

Monday June 4’s opening act is Alistair Barrie who is returning to the Scottish festival this summer with his latest show called ‘The InternationAL’, fresh from an acclaimed run at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Second act is musical maestro Christian Reilly with his solo show Gig Economy. There will be irony, there will be pathos, maybe jazz hands? Add in a sharp satirical twist with great music and loads of laughter. Christian is a global comedy circuit headliner who has appeared at numerous international comedy festivals, on BBC radio and on television.

Other dates of The Fringe Preview Season are June 18, July 2 and 16. For latest information, visit the comedy club’s Facebook page.

Tickets for the show are £6 in advance from the Folly Bar (downstairs), and £7 on the door. Show starts at 8.30pm.
