BEDALES Prep School Dunhurst has helped smash the record for the ‘World’s Largest Reading Lesson’. The Guinness World Record was 3,509 pupils reading but it was broken by 4,000 pupils from 75 schools on June 24. The 170 eager readers from Dunhurst enjoyed a half-hour lesson based on a chapter of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book and included a small re-creation of the scene featuring Lord Voldemort and the snake Nagini. Zoe Lobbenburg (11) said: “It was really exciting attempting to break a world record,”
