EAST Hampshire voters could be hit for six if they are not on the electoral register by 18 April.
On Thursday, May 5, six elections will be run in the district with thousands having the chance to vote in more than one.
Everyone is eligible to vote for a new Police and Crime Commissioner for the Hampshire Police Area.
In Headley residents will be electing a new councillor for Hampshire County Council, and in Clanfield and Finchdean there will be an election for a councillor for East Hampshire District Council (EHDC).
In Petersfield, a new Petersfield Town Council member will be voted in for the St Mary’s ward in Petersfield.
And residents from Bentley and Medstead and Four Marks are reminded to take part in referendums to decide if neighbourhood plans for their villages should be adopted.
Sandy Hopkins, Returning Officer for the election and EHDC chief executive officer, said: “Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in these elections and have your say on issues that make a big difference to where you live.
“The deadline to register to vote is Monday, April 18, so if you’re not already registered, please don’t delay.”
Residents can register to vote quickly and easily online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or obtain a registration form by calling 01730 234350.
Voters can also have their say using postal votes, which means not having to visit the ballot box on May 5. You can apply for a postal vote application form before 19 April.
