PASSENGERS are being advised to avoid travelling on the trains today after a derailment near London Waterloo station.
South West Trains has warned that due to a signal failure and an ’operational incident’, services will be disrupted until the end of the day.
Commuters have been advised to avoid travelling into London and to avoid Waterloo station.
Many trains have already been severely delayed or cancelled.
It comes as passengers are already facing delays as major upgrade works are being carried out at Waterloo station until the end of the month.
