A PLANNING application for a deed of variation to change the terms of the current unilateral undertaking at the former Ordnance Supply Unit (OSU) site, Area B, Midhurst Road, Liphook, has been given planning permission.

The deed of variation application was made to vary the terms of a unilateral undertaking relating to a development of 62 houses at the site.

The application wanted a variation of the terms to remove the restriction on occupation of the houses linked to the delivery of a commercial development on adjacent land.

This revision was sought by the applicant as the commercial site is being sold to East Hampshire District Council, which will be in control of the commercial development.

Anyone who would like to view the approved planning application should visit East Hampshire District Council’s planning website at: www.easthants.gov.uk/planning and search for the planning reference number 33993/080.
