EAST Hampshire MP Damian Hinds retained his parliamentary seat in the general election, polling 35,263 votes.
Rohit Dasgupta for Labour gained 9,411 votes taking him into second place, while veteran Liberal Democrat candidate Richard Robinson collected 8,403 votes.
Richard Knight of the Green Party polled 1,760 votes, while Susan Jerrard of the Justice and Anti-Corruption Party got 571 votes.
