AFTER completing his basic Royal Navy training Ross Little from East Hampshire will now train as an undersea medic.

The 21-year-old former barman completed ten weeks of intensive basic training which included naval discipline and customs, navigation and operating a RIB inflatable boat alone.

Recruits also have to be trained for land-based operations, this includes survival and combat skills.

Ross will go to the Defence College of Healthcare, Education and Training for medical training before returning to HMS Raleigh for specialist submarine training.
