AN ORGANISATION that gather’s and represents the views of the public about their experiences of health and social care across the county is asking for feedback from East Hampshire residents.
Healthwatch Hampshire (HH) wants to hear resident’s thoughts on shaping and improving local health and social care services at an open day in Winchester it is hosting.
The Healthwatch Champion’s Day will include discussing projects for the year ahead, how people can use their skills and knowledge, and gathering ideas.
AN HH spokesman said: “This is a great opportunity for local people to get directly involved in our work.
“If you want to support and improve local health and social care services, and you’re interested in developing new skills and building on existing experience and knowledge, we would love to hear from you.”
Feedback gathered by Healthwatch is used to influence changes made by organisations that commission and provide care services.
The aim is to give people and communities a stronger voice so they can influence and challenge how such services are delivered within their locality.
The Champions Day event is on Friday, March 31, from 10am to 3pm at Healthwatch Hampshire, Westgate Chambers, Staple Gardens, Winchester, SO23 8SR. To book a place visit the HH website: www.healthwatchhampshire.co.uk/champions-day
