East Hampshire's motorists will have 19 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And five of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A27, from 9pm December 5 2025 to 6am January 9 2026, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 westbound, Langstone to Harts Farm Way, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

• A27, from 8pm March 17 2025 to 6am January 12 2026, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27/A27/A3 both directions, junction 9 to junction 11, carriageway, slip road and lane closures for Hampshire County Council major works.

And a further 17 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A3, from 8pm January 5 to 6am January 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands to Weston, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A3, from 8pm January 6 to 6am January 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• A3, from 8pm January 6 to 6am January 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Liphook to Hazel Grove, Lane closure for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm January 6 to 6am January 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, QE2 Country Park to Weston, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A3, from 8pm January 7 to 6am January 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Griggs Green to Hazel Grove, Lane closure for maintenance work.

• A3, from 9pm January 7 to 6am January 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Sheet to Liss, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A3, from 8pm January 8 to 6am January 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Sheet, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.

• A27, from 8pm January 8 to 6am January 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 eastbound, Eastern Road to Harts Farm, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A3, from 8.30pm January 8 to 6am January 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Horndean, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A27, from 9pm January 9 to 6am January 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 both directions Harts Farm Way to Langstone, link road and lane closures for maintenance works.

• A3, from 9pm January 9 to 6am January 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Liphook, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm January 12 to 6am January 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Thursley, carriageway closures for tunnel maintenance.

• A3, from 9pm January 15 to 6am January 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, QE2 Country Park, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm January 16 to 6am January 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Ham Barn to Griggs Green, Lane closure for structures inspections.

• A3, from 8pm January 18 to 6am January 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Liphook, Lane closure for structures inspections.

• A3, from 8pm January 19 to 6am January 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance.

• A3, from 9pm January 19 to 6am January 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Horndean to Weston, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
