East Hampshire's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 9pm October 23 2023 to 6am March 28 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A3, from 8pm February 12 to 5am February 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Upper Ham to Rectory Lane, Lane closure for inspection works.

A3, from 8pm February 14 to 6am February 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hazel Grove to Milford, diversion route for Surrey County Council.

A3, from 8pm February 20 to 5am February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Griggs Green, slip road and lane closure for signage work.

A3, from 8pm February 23 to 6am February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Sheet, slip road and lane closures for signage work.

A3, from 9pm February 23 to 6am February 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3M southbound, junction 2, slip road closure for barrier repairs.

A3, from 8pm February 26 to 6am February 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Chalton to A3M, junction 2, Lane closures for electrical work.

A27, from 8pm February 26 to 6am February 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 both directions Harts Farm Way, link road and lane closures for drainage work.

A3, from 9pm February 26 to 6am February 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3M southbound, junction 2, entry slip road closure for construction improvement works, diversion via National Highways Network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
