BOHUNT Sixth Form, which first opened its doors to students last September, has held a summer open evening.

The subject fair open evening was attended by plenty of students and families from the surrounding area. There was also the opportunity to engage with students studying the 28 A-level subjects on offer at the sixth form. Prospective students and their families also sampled enrichment activities and refreshments from the cafeteria, as well as learning about the curriculum on offer at the sixth form. The state-of-the-art sixth form building is equipped with undergraduate-style science laboratories, a designated visual arts room, a music room which includes special recording facilities, and a number of individual creative workspaces. Prospective students and their families had the chance to view the building, with the event being accompanied by a jazz band. There will be another open event on October 3.

Head of Bohunt Sixth Form Clare Hodgson said: “We were delighted to welcome more students and their families to our open evening at Bohunt Sixth Form. It has been a wonderful first year and a real delight to see how much the students have been enjoying their studies and embracing the opportunities given to them. We look forward to seeing many of the students who attended in September.”
