PUPILS at Churcher’s College Junior School have been raising money for the King’s Arms charity by holding a talent show.

The event was run by the school council as a charity initiative and pupils were required to pay an entry fee to submit a video for judging by a panel of staff and children. The children have been supporting the King’s Arms throughtout the academic year.

The King’s Arms is a Petersfield-based charity which runs a range of clubs and activities to help young people fulfill their potential and know their worth, as well as supporting young carers.

The finalists performed to the school at an assembly and an overall winner was chosen.

The winner, from Reception class, performed a dance routine in costume.

Teacher Kayleigh Pendry said the standard of the entries was very high and the judges had been faced with a very difficult decision, as all the children who had entered the competition had done well.
