The Weald & Downland Living Museum at Singleton has announced forthcoming events that include an enchanted night tour of the museum’s historic buildings.

n May 7-8: Historic Life Weekend: From the Earth – Soil Health

This Historic Life Weekend will look at the importance of soil and how soil health was supported over the centuries.

There will be talks from a variety of experts as well as demonstrations and displays that look at how crops were rotated and the different climate conditions from the Saxon era to today.

n May 12-14: Museum at Night

Experience the museum at night and enjoy enchanting walks guided by lamplight around the site with a series of short night-time stories.

Stories will focus on the theme of amazing animals.

Some will be amusing, some mysterious and some downright odd. Each story has a historical root, as truth is far stranger than fiction!

n May 28 to June 5: Half-term Activities: Celebrations

If your family loves to explore, discover and learn while being in the fresh air, then embark on an adventure at the Weald & Downland Living Museum.
