ALL the pupils at Compton and Up Marden CE Primary School are taking part in the ‘Postcards of Kindness’ campaign.

It was created by Your Health Group, which is asking people to send postcards to residents at its care homes and others across the UK to combat loneliness.

Children wrote about the school’s countryside setting, uniform and dinners, and their lessons.

Terri-Jayne Dyssell, ten, said: “Posting letters seems old-fashioned but it means we can enjoy writing to elderly people who don’t have mobile devices, and they can reply to us.”
