A TEACHER swapped the sun of Uganda for the grey skies of the UK when he spent ten days at Liss Junior School.

Muhudi is a teacher at Kafuro Primary School, with which Liss Junior is twinned.

Both of the schools are members of the Queen Elizabeth Parks Twinning Project, which links schools near to Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire and Queen Elizabeth National Park in south west Uganda.

Liss Junior School assistant headteacher Adam Stanley said: “Muhudi showed the children how to make rolex, which is a Ugandan delicacy.

“He also talked about life in Kafuro and compared the weather data collected from their weather station.”
