HUNDREDS of children from across East Hampshire took the reins at East Hampshire District Council when they took over the council’s Penns Place offices at Petersfield for the day.
It was part of National Takeover Day – a scheme to give young people a glimpse of life in local government. Pupils were given a tour and took part in special activities.
