The children of Petersfield Infant School and Herne Junior School have joined forces this Easter to clean up Petersfield and raise funds for their schools and the Ukraine crisis.

As part of the Little Community Heroes initiative, these environmentally-conscious children are hitting streets around the town over the Easter holidays with their litter pickers.

They will be raising funds for their respective school fundraising groups.

PISA is the charity supporting Petersfield Infant School and HAFS supports Herne Junior School. Each raises funds for additional educational and sporting equipment, special outings and guest visitors to the schools. These activities and events are aimed at enriching the children’s educational experience.

Little Community Heroes spokesman Trudy Baxendale said: “If you think they are doing an amazing job, please can you show them your support by donating.

“All funds raised will be equally split between both schools, and your support would mean so much to these incredible children.

“Also thank you to Tesco Petersfield for donating some lovely Easter prizes and to the Petersfield Society for their support with printing materials.”
