THE Lord Mayor of the City of London’s annual visit to Treloar’s in Alton took place on February 28.
Lord Mayor Alderman William Russell and Lady Mayoress Hilary Russell were accompanied by 100 masters and prime wardens from 50 livery companies.
During a tour of the campus the party visited an art class where students were learning about abstract artist Piet Mondrian.
The tour was followed by lunch and a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by the sixth form.
Treloar Trust chief executive Simon Birch said: “We hope that they enjoyed seeing a glimpse of what amazing things are achieved every day at Treloar’s.”
