NURSERY and reception children at Brookham Pre-Prep in Liphook celebrated Easter.
They dressed as chicks, rabbits and lambs wearing the Easter bonnets they had made and delighted their parents with an end of term performance. The reception children recited the story Chickens Can’t See in the Dark and the nursery children sang. Suzie Songtime conducted the reception children as they performed their instrumental piece.
All Brookham children were then challenged to find toy Easter chicks in the playground, which the staff had enjoyed hiding in some very ingenious places. The nursery children enjoyed an Easter trail of tasks and clues to find the golden egg in their garden and were all rewarded with a plastic egg containing a toy animal. Finally the children had the opportunity to decorate a hard-boiled egg and egg cup to take home.
