The Mayor of Whitehill & Bordon is bringing the sounds and food of his Caribbean homeland to The Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre later this month in support of hurricane victims.

Cllr Leeroy Scott wants people to come together to celebrate culture, music and unity at his One Love Jamaica special fundraising event.

A live performance from David Brewster and his Faze 3 reggae/steel band will be one of the highlights of the event on Sunday, August 30.

Revellers can also expect a broadcast from Kane FM, a laid-back community vibe, bar, and delicious authentic Jamaican food from Taste Buds from 2pm to 9pm.

Entry is free but a £10 donation in support of Hurricane Melissa victims has been kindly requested.
