Lights, camera, cocktails! The Mill in Haslemere is bringing outdoor cinema back to its garden this summer, with film fans invited to settle into deck chairs for a movie night under the stars.

The popular venue will transform its garden into an open-air cinema from Wednesday, August 19, with a large outdoor screen, comfy seating and food and drink available throughout each screening.

And with tickets priced at just £5 per person, it could be the perfect summer blockbuster without the blockbuster price tag. Entry includes a drink of choice, with guests able to enjoy Chase Gin or Chase Vodka paired with Double Dutch Tonics, or a soft drink.

This year’s line-up offers something for every kind of movie fan, from romantic classics and comedy favourites to a family afternoon at the movies.

The series opens with the much-loved rom-com Pretty Woman on Wednesday, August 19, followed by The Devil Wears Prada on Thursday, August 20.

Fans of romance and iconic dance moves can relive the magic of Dirty Dancing on Friday, August 21, before families can join the animals of Zootropolis for the brand-new adventure Zootropolis 2 on Saturday afternoon.

The final screening will see Robin Williams bring the laughs in comedy classic Mrs Doubtfire on Sunday, August 23.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or extra layers to stay cosy as the evening cools, with the outdoor setting meaning the British weather may have a starring role of its own.

Those wanting to make a full evening of it can also book a table for dinner before the film via The Mill’s website.
