THIS year’s Milland bonfire and fireworks on Saturday is set to be the best ever, say organisers.

Fireworks spokesman John Collier said: “We want to give everyone a reason to party.”

There will also be a hog roast, home-made soup, mulled wine, real ale, cider, cakes and sweets, and Milland Stores will be open and offering hot dogs, tea and coffee.

The Recreation Ground gates open at 6pm for the bonfire lighting, with the fireworks about 7.30pm.

Tickets are available on the gate, from Milland Stores or The Rising Sun pub, and cost £5, under 16s £3, under sixes free, and family tickets £15.
