Farnham's Gostrey Meadow will be transformed into a live music showground for performances by the Robbie Williams’ tribute, He’s the One; Woking Wind Orchestra; Rotherhurst Ensemble; Brobed Stils and the Rock Choir on Sunday, June 25.

Proms & Pop in the Park is organised by Farnham Town Council and will take place from midday to 6pm, as part of the summer Music in the Meadow series and coming the day after Farnham Carnival.

Councillor Kika Mirylees said: “Music lovers are in for a treat at this year’s Proms & Pop in the Park. We’ve taken the best bits of the proms and have combined them with popular music to bring you this inter-generational concert.”

For younger concert-goers, there will be a circus skills area and children’s rides. People can bring a picnic or pick up something to eat from one of the many stalls or from the farmers’ market which is happening on the same day in Central car park from 10am to 1.30pm.

Proms & Pop in the Park is part of Farnham’s carnival weekend. It is free to attend thanks to sponsorship from Swish Fibre and Kidd Rapinet Solicitors.
