Entry forms for this year’s Petersfield In Bloom competition are now available to download – with a special category being added to mark a major milestone.

A D-Day 80 category is one of 12 in this year’s competition with the usual sections for children, residents, businesses, public houses, schools and containers.

An environmental award will also be up for grabs, while there’s also a section for school or youth garden projects.

Green-fingered entrants have plenty of time to get growing with June 28 being the closing date and judging taking place a fortnight later. A prize-giving ceremony will take place in Festival Hall in October.

The annual competition is organised by Petersfield Town Council and is open to all properties within the parish, providing they have public access.

Entry forms are available from the Town Hall on Heath Road or can be downloaded through a link on the www.petersfield-tc.gov.uk homepage.
