THIS year Petersfield and District Beekeepers Association is holding its 80th Honey Show and Awards event at Sky Park Farm near Harting.

Hosted in the Deer Hub at the farm on Saturday, September 10, this annual awards ceremony and fair is open to all.

It includes about 13 honey classes, six wax classes, confectionery, mead, display to novice and junior and hive product classes, along with 12 association trophies to be won.

Experts will also be on hand to chat through beekeeping and there will be displays of forage suitable for honey bees and other pollinators.

Judging will be from 10am to 1pm, with trophies presented by Sky Park Farm owner Victoria Noonan at 3.45pm.

The show will close at 4pm.
