TALK about holidays, and plans for the weekend, are typical topics at the hairdressers.
But those going in for a cut and finish at John Peter and Company in Chapel Street, Petersfield, have been having a restyle of late when it comes to salon chat.
“All the talk has been about Europe and the EU Referendum, and the vast majority of customers want out,” said a spokeswoman.
“And it’s people of all ages too who say they will vote out, not just the older people.
“People say they want England back, they want it to go back to being British and to fend for ourselves. It’s about being more self sufficient.
“Immigration is the biggest issue.
“A lot of young people say they aren’t interested, and don’t know anything about it, so won’t be voting.”
