Phoenix Players in Bordon are going back in time with their latest production, We’ll Meet Again, at The Phoenix Theatre on Friday, September 18, Saturday, September 19, Friday 25, and Saturday 26 at 7.30pm (with a 2.30pm matinee this Saturday.

The show is a collection of songs and poems from both world wars, popular with the troops, and good to sing along to, featuring classic songs such as The White Cliffs of Dover, It’s a Long Way to Tipperary, and of course We’ll Meet Again, as well as poems and short sketches.

This year being the 70th Anniversary of VE Day, VJ Day and the end of the Second World War, this seemed to be an appropriate tribute to all the men, women, children, horses, dogs, carrier pigeons and any others caught up in those conflicts.
