THE SKIES above Petersfield will be lit up this Saturday as a town park will host an evening of light entertainment.
Those nice guys at Petersfield Round Table are putting the final touches on the town’s annual fireworks display.
The group’s 28th display will take place at Bell Hill recreation ground with gates opening at 5.30pm.
Ticket-holders can expect a show that Guy Fawkes would be proud of with the bonfire lighting and fireworks starting at 6.30pm and 7pm, respectively.

Proceeds will go towards local charities and good causes while a range of food and drinks will be available to buy on the night.
There will no parking available on Beckham Lane or immediate roads on the night with ticket-holders encouraged to park in the town centre car parks.
