A DRAMATIC drone photograph of a tree blown down on Sunday (March 10) reveals the strength of the wind gusts, up to 65mph according to the BBC.
A witness said: “The huge tree came down at about 9.30amish on the old A3 on the northbound dual carriageway north of Sheet and about half-a-mile past the A272 turning to Rogate and Midhurst.”
On Facebook Delia Cann said: “My husband was the guy with the chain saw. Well done everyone with the clearing up.”
The picture was taken by Chris Gorman, who said if the wind had been any stronger his drone would have been unable to fly.
