Draft plans to build dozens of homes on a south of Butser farm could be submitted soon.

Gleeson Homes are the latest housebuilder to show an interest in Clanfield as plans to build up to 125 homes on Charity Farm are in the pipeline.

The firm has yet to submit an outline application to build on the T-shaped plot south of Drift Road which consists of around 6.6 hectares of grazing land.

But they’ve asked East Hampshire District Council whether they will need to produce an Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) as part of an outline or full application.

The request for a screening opinion comes hot on the heels of a separate outline application to build up 180 homes nearby on Sunderton Fields.
