A?RUGBY tournament hosted at Petersfield Rugby Club the day after Fiji became Olympic Rugby 7s Champions saw Fijian rugby at its best.
The UK Fijians’ 7s tournament, launched in 2013, aims to bring Fijians in the British armed forces and their families together.
Event joint organiser John Voss said: “The aim is to expand this event.
“At present, with the support of clubs like Petersfield, we are planting the seeds of the competition and letting them grow.”
Petersfield RFC Chairman Stu Barden said: “This was a marvellous opportunity to show our appreciation of great rugby, and the job these guys do.”
The final saw the Wallbreakers beat the Nakelo Spartans 55-5.
The presentations were made by the Fiji High Commissioner to the UK, His Excellency Jitoko Tikolevu and Petersfield Mayor James Deane.
