PETERSFIELD museum will be hosting A Victorian Christmas on Sunday, December 4.
Not usually open on a Sunday, it will be opening its doors from 10am to 3.30pm as part of the Petersfield Christmas Market celebrations.
There will be people to meet in period dress and lots of learn about how the Victorians celebrated the festive season.
From 10.30am to 12.30pm youngsters can enjoy a range of activities including wrapping paper making and playing parlour games. There will also be some storytelling extracts from the Victorian classic A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens.
Christmas stalls can be browsed in The Square, and there is an archaeological tour of the Heath, meeting at 1.30pm at the Little School on the Heath, next to the car park. Booking is essential for this by calling 01730 260756 or e-mailing [email protected]
An entry fee applies to adults for A Victorian Christmas. Children go free.
