A FLOWER festival at Holy Trinity Church in Privett has raised vital funds for the church.
The festival was held on Saturday and Sunday and the floral theme was all things bright and beautiful.
Money raised by the event is going towards essential repairs to the church.
Teresa Brown, who is the chairman of the flower festival’s organising committee, said: “The flower festival was a great success and everything went to plan.
“Froxfield School and the two nurseries had a display in their own corner of the church, and there were 27 other displays. About 300 people came along on each day, and the refreshments were very popular.
“We don’t have a final total yet, but it looks like we’ve raised about £6,000.”
