Fly fishermen at Meon Springs net charity money

ANGLERS at Meon Springs fishery raised almost £3,500 for the Wild Trout Trust, during the Three Fly Challenge, now in its seventh year.

This year more than 20 anglers entered, with Neil Mundy the overall winner.

Fishery manager at Meon Springs Roger Greentree said: “In seven years about £20,000 has been raised for the trust, and this year £575 also went to the Fishing for Forces charity.”
