THIS morning’s (January 23) road report from the AA shows traffic is slow moving on the A3.

Freezing fog is being blamed for slowing the flow, in particular on the northbound carriageway, said one motorist who spoke to the Post.

The AA website says there are no reported incidents, but the fog could last on and off all day says The Met Office.

The Met Office website said: “Dense patches of freezing fog will persist across parts of the Midlands and southern England."

Motorists are being asked to take care, drive inside the speed limit, make sure their car lights are on, and keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
