A FREE first aid course open to all on a first come, first served basis, is being held at the town centre offices of a Petersfield care company.

Bluebird Care is holding the course on Monday, May 14, from 10am to 4pm, in its Charles Street offices.

It will be led by a qualified instructor and will cover all the basics for a level three award in ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’.

Bluebird Care spokesman Duncan Berry said: “We hope this informative course will enable more people to have the knowledge and confidence to know what to do in an emergency.

“I would strongly encourage residents to come along and join us for this informative course.”

The course comes just after the care company installed a defibrillator in its offices that can be used in an emergency by anyone in the area.
