THE ROYAL British Legion in Liss held its first charity quiz night organised by Chris Birkett and Russell Theron.

The quiz was enjoyed by both members and non-members.

Representatives from the Petersfield Stroke Group and The Rosemary Foundation were on hand to receive cheques of £435 each, raised from quizzes held over the past year at a previous venue.

Money was also donated towards the poppy appeal.

The next quiz night will be held at 8.30pm tomorrow (Thursday).
