A LONG serving district councillor has died after a battle with cancer.

Judy Onslow died on Tuesday, April 26, after serving on East Hampshire District Council since 1999 when she was elected as the member for Greatham, Hawkley and Liss Forest.
She was chairman of the council in 2010/11 and also played important roles as Cabinet member for Environment; chairman of the Licensing Committee and chairman of the Community Forum for Petersfield, Liss and surrounding parishes.
The funeral will be on Thursday, May 5, at 1.30pm in St Peters Church in Petersfield.
