A SHOW which offers the visitors the best in ‘art, design, your garden and you’ has opened today (Friday) at Stansted Park.
Interest is growing in The Garden Show as the three-day event near Rowlands Castle includes specialist nurseries, garden products and homeware.
As well as more than 300 stands, including a number of charities, there will be free talks and demonstrations each day by horticulture and cookery experts.
Other entertainment around the site will include Huxley’s birds of prey centre, have-a-go archery and music ranging from jazz to vintage with Chichester City Band performing tomorrow (Saturday).
Stansted’s chapel will be filled with floral displays mounted by Emsworth Afternoon Flower Club, in aid of Canine Partners, children’s activities, both crafts and entertainment, will be offered and the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen has its own marquee in the show.
In and around The Studio Shop marquee, artists and designers will also showcase their work while fashion, gifts and country food and wines will also be available.
