GRAYSHOTT Folk Club is preparing for a performance which will offer something new and different to the audience.
Members of the club like to push the boundaries beyond Folk.
Leeds act Hope and Social have their own, inimitable take on Folk music and live entertainment.
On Friday, October 13, the club welcomes the act.
The name is twofold – ‘Hope’ because their shows are full of energy, positivity and are created to induce the feel good factor in their audiences.
‘Social’ because they involve their audiences in their shows and in their recordings.
This is a band that reaches out to people and draws them in.
Their mission is to bring a smile to everyone’s faces and to send them home happy.
They have conquered their native Leeds and virtually the whole of the north of England.
They will be performing songs from their back catalogue as well as playing songs from their latest album, Feel.
Martha Paton will return to the club to perform on the same day.
Originally from Fleet, Martha has a wonderful voice, plays guitar and writes thought-provoking lyrics.
Tickets are £16 each and can be purchased from?Des O’Byrne on 01428 607096.
The gig will take place at Grayshott Village Hall, Headley Road, from 7.30pm.
