ENJOY devilish days out in East Hampshire this half-term.
With the school holiday coinciding with Hallowe'en, it is a great chance to dress up for events at National Trust properties.
There is a Hallowe'en trail at Hinton Ampner, near Alresford, from October 22 to 30, 10am to 4pm.
Search for clues along meandering paths into the nooks and crannies of this large garden.
At Uppark House near South Harting, monsters created by famous sci-fi novelist HG Wells have inspired a Spooky Monsters trail, with clues to solve a mystery. This runs from October 22 to 30.
Normal admission charges apply at Hinton Ampner and Uppark, with a suggested donation of a £1 per trail.
Visitors to Winchester City Mill will find a feast of activities from October 22 to 30, including pumpkin carving and seasonal baking.
Complete the Mill’s enchanting witches and wizards family Hallowe'en trail and win a prize, take your own pumpkin to carving sessions on October 25 and 27, 11am to 3pm, and settle down for spooky storytelling on October 28, from 10.30am to 4pm.
