Patience is wearing very thin now in Hambledon.
The village has been under water for almost three weeks and with severe flood warnings in place again, villagers have been warned it could be weeks yet before there is any respite.
Hambledon has become an emergency centre with agencies working tirelessly together to improve the situation.
But it is still deluged, with heavy rain on Friday and the last couple of days bringing rising flood levels again and more panic.
Martin Clark, of Lott Stores, said: "The ground is so saturated and there are no soakaways so with the heavy rain from about 3pm on Friday it got bad again with the water rising rapidly.
"There was a lot of panic from all concerned, especially those with cellars that are flooding. We are doing our utmost in great difficulty. We are praying for better weather."
